Opening Your Solar Plexus

The third chakra is your solar plexus (manipura), which is your center of willpower. Dr. Shumsky describes how “this chakra has the greatest concentration of intense pranic energy, because so many nadis (conduits of pranic energy) radiate from it. Manipura gives you life by distributing pranic energy throughout your body.

To help open manipura, repeat the following affirmation:

“I AM filled with the radiant light of the sun. My entire body is filled with vibrant energy and divine light. I AM a beauteous being of radiance, power, health, and vitality. I AM at peace. Thank you.” (S. Shumsky, p. 140, 2014).
